Vale Chloe Munro (AO)

Chloe was one of the most committed and impressive leaders in Australia’s clean energy industry.

Last week, we shared with our community of investors, the sad news that our friend and the chair of our solar boards Chloe Munro AO has passed away.

There will be a streamed service on Monday 5th July, and if you would like to request the link, please email info@bereavement.org.au.

Chloe was one of the most committed and impressive leaders in Australia’s clean energy industry. Her contribution to Australia’s energy industry spanned the private and public sectors, and she was quite rightly recognised by the AFR as one of the most influential women in Australia, across any sphere.

When we had the opportunity in 2018 to appoint a new Chair for IIG’s solar funds, we were thrilled and honoured that she agreed to take on the role. She was a wise counsel to our team, and our Funds’ investors could have had no better custodian than Chloe.

Chloe has been an exceptional colleague and friend, and we will miss her greatly. On behalf of our team at IIG and our wider community, we pass on our condolences to Chloe’s many friends and her family in Australia, England and Scotland.
